About the Position: The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of North Carolina Greensboro is excited to announce a full-time lecturer position to teach Analytical Chemistry with an anticipated start date of August 1st, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative department focused on fostering the success of our outstanding students. The teaching load will consist of four courses per semester, primarily in analytical chemistry, but may include courses in general, inorganic, biochemistry, physical, and/or organic chemistry, depending on the needs of the department and the expertise of the candidate. The department provides support, with resources and guidance from previous instructors to facilitate a smooth transition into teaching established courses. We're looking for someone passionate about undergraduate education, with prior teaching experience, who is committed to student success. The successful candidates will use student-centered, active learning, and inquiry-based teaching practices. The position is contingent on expected available funding.
